Jal Mahal

Architecture of Jal Mahal
The palace is an extended part of the Kuchaman Fort and has got separate chambers for men and women. The entire building stands on intricately carved arcades and cloisters. The cloisters are present from all sides of the building with a unique architecture present inside the building. There are pools for the princes and other male members of the royal family with the King’s special pool hidden inside the chambers.Outside the palace, there were well manicured garden from all sides, which is still visible on a visit to the palace. The walls of the palace are painted with beautiful and colourful miniature paintings. The state tourism department of Rajasthan had given this palace to be renovated into a heritage hotel. This luxury hotel is constantly maintains the entire structure and provides the tourists an opportunity to enjoy the majestic ambience and lavishness of the place.
The underground pools have been renovated into modern swimming pools and are open for the public.
